MEP Field Operations Engineer

About the role

The MEP Field Operations Engineer will lead the installation, maintenance, and modernization of elevators and escalators across multiple sites. You will ensure that field teams work safely, diagnose technical issues promptly, and achieve operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site installation, testing, and commissioning to meet quality and safety standards.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system failures and guide technicians to rapid resolution.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Enforce HSE policies, conduct hazard assessments, and ensure proper use of safety tools.
• Prepare performance, inspection, and maintenance reports and conduct quality audits on completed jobs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in vertical transportation field operations, maintenance, or renovation.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership or certification is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a distinct advantage.

Required skills

• Interpretation of schematics and technical drawings.
• Use of diagnostic tools for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Experience with Field Service Management (FSM) systems.
• Project management capabilities.
