MEP Materials Engineer

About the role

Alfanar Group is looking for a skilled MEP Materials Engineer to manage and coordinate all material‑related activities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works. The role ensures that material submittals, approvals, and deliveries align with project specifications and schedules, supporting smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare MEP material submittals according to project requirements.
• Verify that all materials comply with specifications, international standards, and local codes.
• Coordinate with procurement to secure timely delivery of approved materials.
• Follow up with suppliers and manufacturers for technical documents and certifications.
• Maintain logs and tracking sheets for material submittals and approvals.
• Liaise with consultants and clients to obtain necessary approvals.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and installation of materials on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material engineering for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, low‑current, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, ISO, BS and local Saudi codes.
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Ability to work with document control systems and manage approval workflows.
