MEP Project Manager – Large‑Scale Construction

About the role

We are a leading Saudi general contractor seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on large‑scale construction projects in Riyadh. The role involves full‑cycle responsibility from design through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design and procurement to installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop detailed MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with overall project objectives.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Review and approve MEP submittals, drawings, and specifications for compliance with standards.
• Manage MEP resources—including labour, materials, and equipment—to optimise efficiency and control costs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce quality, health, and safety regulations.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues, providing innovative solutions.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports highlighting milestones, risks, and financial performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven track record as a Project Manager with extensive experience managing MEP systems on large building or civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi building codes, technical standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
