Merchandiser – Retail Shelf Management

About the role

The Merchandiser will join PepsiCo's sales team to maximise on‑shelf presence of our products across assigned outlets. The role involves executing planograms, maintaining product freshness, and supporting in‑store sampling or promotional activities when required.

Key responsibilities

• Visit specific outlets according to the daily journey plan provided by the supervisor.
• Merchandise PepsiCo (SSFL) products on shelves, stands, floor displays and other access points.
• Place point‑of‑sale (POS) material next to displays as applicable.
• Ensure all displays follow approved planograms and rotate stock using FIFO, removing sub‑standard items.
• Keep shelves clean and stocked with fresh products at all times.
• Monitor and report competitive activities and any deviations from agreed terms.
• Provide daily activity reports to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling, redemption or promotional campaigns when required.
• Maintain appropriate personal appearance and professional behaviour.

Required profile

• Ability to follow a daily route plan and adhere to planogram specifications.
• Attention to detail for product rotation, shelf cleanliness and compliance reporting.
• Willingness to engage with store staff and represent the brand professionally.
• Reliability in reporting daily activities and market information to the pre‑seller.
