Merchandising Team Leader

About the role

The Merchandising Team Leader will oversee a multicultural team of merchandisers, ensuring optimal in‑store execution and alignment with brand standards. You will act as a bridge between marketing, sales, and logistics while driving creative displays and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of merchandisers across multiple depots.
• Ensure FIFO implementation and adherence to planograms on shelves.
• Manage business tools, delivery schedules, merchandising routes, and POSM usage.
• Create and maintain shelf‑share, display‑share, and contractual space compliance.
• Plan and execute promotional events, festivals, and in‑store activities.
• Conduct on‑job training, performance evaluations, payroll, and vacation follow‑ups.
• Track trade reports and communicate results with the sales team.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma.
• Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG merchandising or sales.
• Strong time‑management, organization, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
