Microwave Project Manager

About the role

The Microwave Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of microwave transmission and backhaul projects for telecom networks. You will ensure reliable point‑to‑point and point‑to‑multipoint links, meet project timelines, and comply with technical and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedule, budget and resource plan for microwave network deployments.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of point‑to‑point links, IP/MPLS backhaul integration, and transmission upgrades.
• Coordinate with RF planning, transmission, civil and field teams.
• Oversee site acquisition, surveys, line‑of‑sight analysis, tower construction, antenna installation and alignment.
• Monitor risks, issues and performance; provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Manage vendors, subcontractors and equipment suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with spectrum licensing and other regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in telecom project management, specifically in transmission/microwave.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale network projects.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
