Mid-Level Cost Controller – Urgent Hiring

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team in Riyadh. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project costs, ensuring expenditures align with approved budgets and providing timely financial insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update project cost reports, cost‑to‑complete, and estimate‑at‑completion forecasts using RIB Candy.
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices.
• Maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Track variation orders, claims, and provisional sums.
• Support monthly project cost reviews and management reporting.
• Reconcile project costs with finance and accounting records.
• Assist in budget preparation and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Coordinate with project managers, planning, procurement, and site teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Control or Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
• Experience in GCC projects preferred and valid KSA iqama required.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as RICS, AACE or PMP are preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with RIB Candy or CostX (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Primavera, SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and commercial management principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Power BI experience is an advantage.
