Motion Design Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Motion Design Specialist to shape engaging digital experiences in Saudi Arabia. You will bring products and interfaces to life through thoughtful motion design and interaction storytelling, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and create high‑quality animations, transitions, interaction flows, and motion studies that enhance digital product experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, producers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for motion to improve usability and communication.
• Translate business objectives and product strategies into intuitive motion concepts and scalable interaction systems.
• Communicate motion behavior, timing, pacing, and interaction intent to engineering teams for accurate implementation.
• Contribute to defining motion principles, interaction patterns, and consistent motion systems across products.
• Support internal workflow, tooling, and design process improvements.
• Mentor and guide other motion designers, providing constructive feedback and craft leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in motion design within a studio, digital agency, product company, or freelance environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion craft, interaction design, and product‑focused thinking.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user‑centered methodologies.
• Ability to transform complex concepts into polished, intuitive motion experiences.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams and clearly communicating motion specifications.
• Strong visual design sensibility with excellent grasp of timing, composition, pacing, and movement.
