NDT Technical Manager

About the role

The NDT Technical Manager will lead the non‑destructive testing (NDT) function for Al Othman Holding Company’s oil and gas projects. The role ensures technical compliance, quality, and safety across all site operations while coordinating reporting, training, and client interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily NDT activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures and international standards.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, statistics, and inspection documentation.
• Develop and implement written NDT practices for training and certification of personnel.
• Support operations heads with manpower planning, equipment mobilization, transportation, and logistics.
• Monitor technical performance, issue NCRs, and drive corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers on technical complaints, crew planning, and compliance matters.
• Conduct HSE, quality, and technical training for the NDT team.
• Maintain KPI tracking, task updates, and ensure alignment with strategic plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in NDT management within oil and gas or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of NDT codes, international standards, and certification processes (e.g., ASNT Level III).
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage logistics, and interact with clients.
• Excellent communication skills and a focus on safety and quality.
