Network Engineer

About the role

Alfanar Group is seeking a Network Engineer to perform network installation tasks efficiently and to support mid‑size projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing network diagrams, providing second‑level support, and ensuring network solutions meet company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design detailed site‑survey diagrams in Visio, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Provide second‑level ticket support for project and technical managers.
• Conduct proactive on‑site visits for SLA‑bound mid‑size projects.
• Coordinate reservation and BT activities before remote site visits.
• Develop and implement network solutions, install and configure equipment, and perform maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Update network documentation and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• At least 48 months (4 years) of relevant network engineering experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow defined policies and procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and capacity to escalate complex issues.
• Commitment to continuous learning of technical and soft skills.
