Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise‑wide security solutions. The role focuses on Palo Alto firewall platforms and requires strong networking knowledge to protect data‑center and corporate environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Palo Alto firewall infrastructure across the enterprise.
• Develop, optimise and audit security policies, NAT, App‑ID, User‑ID, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering and WildFire configurations.
• Conduct security assessments, log analysis and incident response for network and security events.
• Support high‑availability, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity initiatives, including HA migrations.
• Collaborate with routing and switching teams to integrate security controls with BGP, OSPF, VLAN and VPN architectures.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and infrastructure upgrades to align with industry best practices.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in network security engineering.
• Proven expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama management.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and VLAN technologies.
• Experience in data‑center and enterprise environments, including HA deployments.
• Relevant certifications such as PCNSE (highly preferred) or PCNSA.
