Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Lead

About the role

The Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Lead will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Tecnicas Reunidas Gulf's HSE Management System across its Saudi Arabian offices. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ADNOC, ARAMCO and local regulations while fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the corporate HSE Management System, aligning it with strategic objectives, group standards and regulatory requirements.
• Control documented information, monitor HSE objectives, targets, risks, opportunities and performance indicators, and produce periodic reports.
• Identify, evaluate and ensure compliance with all applicable HSE legal and regulatory requirements, including ARAMCO GES+.
• Prepare the annual Management Review Report and support internal and external ISO 45001/ISO 14001 audits.
• Develop and oversee occupational health and safety programmes, including training, medical surveillance, emergency preparedness and equipment maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections, analyse HSE data, incidents and non‑conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with HR and support departments to monitor environmental performance indicators such as waste, energy and paper consumption.
• Promote HSE awareness, wellbeing activities and continuous improvement across all Saudi offices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Certification in Occupational HS Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and NEBOSH.
• Minimum 5 years experience implementing HSE Management Systems in engineering and construction environments.
• Mandatory participation in Saudi Aramco’s General Engineering Services Plus (GES+) program.
