Onboarding Officer

About the role

The Onboarding Officer will lead the end‑to‑end onboarding journey for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance through the probation period. This role partners closely with HR Operations, IT, Payroll and line managers to guarantee that every new employee is ready to contribute from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full onboarding process from offer acceptance to probation completion.
• Prepare, collect, and verify all required onboarding documentation and employment records.
• Maintain onboarding workflows and employee records in the SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding module.
• Collaborate with internal departments (HR Operations, IT, Administration, Payroll, managers) to ensure readiness of equipment, system access, and paperwork.
• Create employee files and ensure accurate data entry into HR systems and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Conduct onboarding sessions introducing company policies, culture, and structure.
• Monitor task completion in SAP SuccessFactors and follow up with stakeholders.
• Support system‑related onboarding activities such as document uploads and profile completion.
• Coordinate employee access requests (email, system accounts, IDs, office equipment).
• Liaise with Government Relations for residency, work permits, and related documentation when needed.
• Maintain onboarding trackers, reports, and confidential employee records.
• Gather feedback from new hires and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in onboarding, HR operations, or talent acquisition support.
