OpenText Engineer

About the role

The OpenText Engineer will manage, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade the Windows Server and Apache‑based environment that supports enterprise applications. The role demands strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration, Apache web server management, SSL/TLS handling and Level 2 application support.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, patch, configure and monitor Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Support DNS, service accounts, permissions, file‑system access and application connectivity.
• Install, configure, upgrade and validate Apache HTTP Server, including virtual hosts, redirects and proxy settings.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates, renewals and HTTPS configurations.
• Analyze Windows Event Viewer, Apache access/error logs and application logs to resolve availability and performance issues.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring incidents and execute rollback or recovery actions as needed.
• Support backend and frontend application infrastructure, including software installations, upgrades and patches.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of hands‑on experience with Windows Server and Apache administration.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure‑related incidents.
• Strong analytical skills for log analysis and root‑cause investigation.
