Operational and Financial Audit Manager

About the role

ASMO, a joint venture between DHL and Aramco, is seeking an Operational and Financial Audit Manager to lead audits of its core financial and operational processes. The role will focus on procurement, inventory management, hub operations and related functions, ensuring compliance with SOCPA and IFRS standards while supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans covering financial and operational processes such as procurement, inventory management and hub operations.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with internal policies, IFRS and SOCPA regulations.
• Identify financial and operational risks, propose mitigation measures and recommend process improvements.
• Review financial controls, reporting and budgeting cycles to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls across the budgeting, investment, procurement and inventory management cycles.
• Maintain detailed audit documentation, including findings, observations and recommendations.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and procurement teams to gather information and drive improvements.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial audit role.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CMA or equivalent recognized by SOCPA.
• Proven experience in auditing, risk assessment or compliance within an organizational setting.
