Operations Director (Factory Head)

About the role

The Operations Director will hold full strategic and operational accountability for a frozen‑food manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will shape the plant’s operational strategy, drive modernization, and embed a culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the facility’s operational strategy aligned with corporate growth plans.
• Lead transformation projects including capacity expansion, automation, and capital investment planning.
• Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous‑improvement programs.
• Oversee end‑to‑end production from raw material intake to freezing, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure reliability of cold‑chain, freezing and refrigeration assets via preventive maintenance.
• Maintain full compliance with SFDA, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP and customer‑specific food‑safety standards.
• Lead, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary workforce across production, quality, engineering and supply chain.
• Own the operating budget and capital plan with full P&L responsibility.

Required profile

• Senior‑level leader with proven experience in large‑scale food or industrial manufacturing.
• Track record of delivering measurable improvements in OEE, yield, throughput and cost.
• Strong capability to translate business objectives into operational targets and road‑maps.
• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and driving a safety‑first culture.
