Operations Manager, FC Operations

About the role

Amazon’s worldwide operations network delivers millions of packages daily. As an Operations Manager for FC Operations, you will lead a mixed salaried and hourly team, ensuring safety, quality, attendance and performance while driving productivity through data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate a diverse workforce across shifts.
• Lead large‑scope projects that impact site and regional performance.
• Build and execute productivity plans by reviewing forecasts and balancing workload with other leaders.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity and on‑time customer delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and HR to meet business objectives.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 lb and frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching.

Required profile

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques.
