Operations Manager – Fulfillment Center Operations

About the role

Amazon’s worldwide operations network delivers millions of packages daily. As an Operations Manager you will lead a mixed team of salaried and hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, attendance and performance standards are met while driving productivity through data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate a salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large‑scale projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans based on forecast reviews and partner with other leaders to balance workload.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity and customer delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and HR to develop business‑critical plans.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 lb and frequent squatting, bending and reaching.

Required profile

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques.
