Operations Manager – Pickup & Delivery & Terminal Handling

About the role

We are looking for a Manager to lead Pickup & Delivery (PUD) and Terminal Handling operations across Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for establishing a national operating model, driving productivity, managing costs and ensuring full operational control of the end‑to‑end logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a standardized national PUD & Handling operating model across all locations.
• Own cost per stop, route and shipment, and manage the full P&L for PUD and terminal handling.
• Lead network‑wide capacity planning, volume forecasting and peak‑period management.
• Design and continuously optimise terminal and cross‑dock network structures, SOPs and productivity standards.
• Build and lead high‑performing teams, drive workforce planning, shift models and change‑management initiatives.
• Implement and monitor advanced KPI frameworks, ensuring data accuracy through the Transport Management System.
• Manage budgeting, cost governance and make‑or‑buy decisions for fleet and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with key customers to improve service levels and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or transport operations management at a national or multi‑site level.
• Demonstrated ability to own P&L, control costs and drive profitability.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building performance‑driven cultures.
• Experience in capacity planning, forecasting and terminal or cross‑dock operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
