Operations Manager – Vehicle Distribution

About the role

The Operations Manager – Vehicle Distribution will lead logistics and supply‑chain activities for Al Futtaim Automotive in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure compliance with customs, port authorities and KSA regulations while delivering vehicles to dealer locations on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customs, port clearance and regulatory compliance for vehicle imports.
• Oversee warehousing, documentation and timely deliveries across all dealer/showroom locations in KSA.
• Prepare accurate daily operational reports, update KPI dashboards and feed data into SAP.
• Develop, implement and maintain SOPs for all logistics and supply‑chain processes.
• Monitor monthly P&L, control costs and achieve net‑profit targets.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, negotiate SLAs and contracts with suppliers.
• Ensure vehicle movements comply with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct staff performance appraisals and implement development reviews.

Required profile

• Degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in operations or logistics management.
• Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organizational, decision‑making and interpersonal skills.
