Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our retail team at The Brick. In this role you will ensure the store runs smoothly, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high merchandising standards. You will work closely with the Store Manager and lead a team of associates to achieve operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain excellence in store merchandising, detail and customer service.
• Recruit, hire, coach and develop staff, set goals and conduct performance appraisals.
• Handle escalated customer service issues and provide effective solutions.
• Promote teamwork across all departments and lead by example.
• Ensure accurate data entry and minimal errors.
• Maintain inventory levels and accuracy.
• Control and report on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Implement and ensure compliance with all Brick Group policies and procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education is an asset.
• At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Previous retail supervisory or senior associate experience is a plus.
• Proven track record in customer service, operations and merchandising.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management and work ethic.
• Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends.
