Operations Supervisor

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding, the air, ocean and road freight specialist of DHL Group, as an Operations Supervisor in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will lead warehouse and manual‑handling activities, ensuring safe, efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments while supporting the company’s global logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse and manual‑handling plans and processes for safe, efficient operations.
• Coach and guide the team to meet daily schedules, targets and service performance timings.
• Monitor inbound shipments and process outbound shipments within agreed timeframes.
• Participate in inventory planning, scheduling and ordering to meet organizational needs.
• Resolve conflicts and coordinate delivery schedules with shippers and customers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date stock information, review material movement and compare production schedules with inventory levels.
• Conduct daily/weekly inventory cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Perform inventory control, stock turnover analysis and material scheduling.
• Inspect incoming material for conformity with order specifications and identify defects.
• Execute safety, security and inventory control programs to protect goods and equipment.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization for storage and distribution of raw materials, finished products, tools and packaging.
• Identify issues and opportunities to improve efficiency, service speed and cost.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
