Operator Assistant I – Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking an Operator Assistant I to support basic oil‑well operations at our Al Khobar site. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience with drilling fluids, solids control and related equipment while working under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and assist with basic oil‑well operations, including drilling fluids and solids control.
• Support rigging‑up and rigging‑down of service equipment.
• Operate equipment such as shale shakers, centrifuges, cuttings handling and slurrification systems, and vacuum/pressure washing units.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety awareness and environmental compliance activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Basic reading, writing and computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Operation of shale shakers and screen changes.
• Use of centrifuges and cuttings handling equipment.
• Experience with slurrification, vacuum and pressure washing systems.
• Rigging‑up and rigging‑down of service equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
