Ophthalmology Specialist – Full-time, Riyadh

About the role

DiaServ is seeking a full‑time Ophthalmology Specialist to join its Riyadh clinic. The professional will deliver comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose ocular conditions, and provide medical or surgical treatments in line with current clinical guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient histories and comprehensive eye examinations.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as slit‑lamp exams, fundus imaging, visual field testing, and optical coherence tomography.
• Document findings and treatment plans in the electronic health record system.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and refer patients when necessary.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive eye care, and treatment options.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and adhere to infection‑control and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Medical degree in ophthalmology with completed residency or equivalent training.
• Valid license to practice ophthalmology in Saudi Arabia; board certification preferred.
• Proven experience managing acute and chronic ocular diseases.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and patient‑centered communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
