OTC Category Manager

About the role

The OTC Category Manager supports the Category Head in driving the product lifecycle for over‑the‑counter items. You will assist in product selection, supplier coordination, pricing, promotions and store fulfilment to meet sales, profitability and inventory targets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales trends, competitor activity and customer insights to support category strategy.
• Assist in product selection, listing and delisting based on performance and market trends.
• Prepare analyses and proposals for supplier negotiations and joint business planning.
• Conduct market research to inform pricing and promotional strategies and track promotion effectiveness.
• Support inventory forecasting, demand planning and order placement to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with finance on cost analysis and margin optimisation, and with operations to resolve store‑level issues.
• Monitor category KPIs, prepare reports and dashboards, and recommend data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in retail, FMCG or category management.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
