Outbound Supervisor – Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are seeking an Outbound Supervisor to lead daily outbound warehouse activities, ensuring orders are picked, consolidated, staged and dispatched accurately and on time. The role involves managing a team, coordinating with cross‑functional departments and maintaining high standards of quality, food safety and workplace safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily outbound operations including picking, consolidation, staging, loading and dispatch.
• Allocate manpower based on workload, order volume and shift requirements.
• Monitor order accuracy, productivity, throughput, backlog and on‑time dispatch.
• Resolve operational issues and outbound discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Inventory, Stock Control, Distribution, Transportation and QA teams.
• Ensure proper handling of damaged, expired and temperature‑sensitive products.
• Monitor team attendance, performance and adherence to SOPs.
• Prepare shift reports and follow up on performance improvement actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and productivity.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in warehouse, outbound, fulfillment, logistics or distribution operations.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of outbound warehouse processes and order fulfillment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational systems.
• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, inventory control, food safety and warehouse safety.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume warehouse environment.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
