Outpatient Nurse 2

About the role

The Outpatient Nurse 2 provides direct patient care in the assigned outpatient unit, implements nursing processes, ensures adherence to clinical protocols, maintains patient safety, and works under moderate supervision to deliver efficient and effective nursing care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the outpatient unit, following clinical protocols and ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support smooth unit operations and patient management.
• Monitor patient progress, document care from admission through discharge, and report concerns to senior staff.
• Participate in development and implementation of protocols to improve patient safety and operational efficiency.
• Precept new hires and trainees, providing guidance during their probationary period.

Required profile

• International Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or actively pursuing BSN.
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in outpatient care.
• Full proficiency in English; Arabic preferred.
