Part-Time Urology Consultant

About the role

The Institute of Clinical Care (ICC) is hiring a part-time, in-person Urology Consultant to provide specialised urology care in its physical clinic. The consultant evaluates, diagnoses and manages acute and chronic genitourinary conditions, working within a defined part-time scope and coordinating closely with the full-time clinical and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in-person urology care during scheduled part-time clinic sessions, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of acute and chronic conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, urinary tract infections, urolithiasis, urinary incontinence, male infertility and urologic oncology surveillance.
• Take histories, perform physical examinations and review laboratory, imaging and urodynamic findings; develop individualised management plans including medication, lifestyle interventions and referrals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and promote preventive care such as PSA screening counselling.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and caregivers, and counsel on diagnoses, treatment plans and medication safety.
• Contribute to quality assurance through clinical governance, audits and compliance programmes, and mentor junior physicians and healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in Urology from an accredited programme and board certification in Urology.
• SCFHS classification and registration as a Urology Consultant.
• Proven experience as a Urology Consultant or similar role, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting.
• At least 3 years of clinical practice.
