Parts Man – Automotive Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Parts Man is responsible for handling, storing, picking, packing and dispatching genuine automotive parts within the Al‑Futtaim Automotive BYD dealership warehouse in Saudi Arabia. This position ensures inventory accuracy, supports workshop efficiency and guarantees timely parts availability for service, retail and inter‑branch needs.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, part numbers and condition against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
• Bin parts accurately using FIFO principles and OEM storage requirements, maintaining proper conditions for fragile, hazardous or high‑voltage components.
• Pick parts for workshop repair orders, retail sales, body‑shop requests and inter‑branch transfers, verifying quantities before dispatch.
• Package and dispatch parts securely, handling fragile or high‑value items with special care and maintaining delivery documentation.
• Conduct daily cycle counts, support scheduled stock takes and monitor stock condition to maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, 5S standards and safety compliance, especially when handling high‑voltage battery components.
