Part‑time Academic Peer Reviewer – Political Science (PhD required)

About the role

We are seeking experienced scholars to join our editorial team as part‑time peer reviewers for political science manuscripts. This long‑term, remote position allows you to contribute to the quality of academic publishing while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity, relevance, and statistical soundness.
• Provide constructive, written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and ethical considerations.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in political science or a closely related field.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality, objectivity, and ethical standards.
• Prior experience as a journal peer reviewer is highly desirable.
