Payroll Officer

About the role

The Payroll Officer will lead the payroll function for CMC and its Business Units, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all staff. This position requires strong knowledge of Saudi payroll regulations and the ability to manage complex payroll processes in a medical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process all payroll transactions, including salaries, retroactive pay, increments, leaves, terminations, deductions and settlements.
• Review, sign and validate staff settlements such as end‑of‑service, ticket compensation, school fee reimbursements and other benefits.
• Apply monthly salaries using the computerized payroll system and coordinate with GOSI for contributions and deductions.
• Supervise receivables from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll records, generate reports and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and HR departments to align payroll processing and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare documentation for legal subpoenas related to employee wages and benefits.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of hands‑on payroll experience, preferably in a healthcare or large‑scale organization.
• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi payroll legislation, GOSI and HRDF procedures.
• Proficiency with computerized payroll applications and ability to handle complex settlements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
