Payroll Specialist

About the role

The Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of monthly payroll for all employees. This role works closely with HR, Finance, and external agencies to meet Saudi labor regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process end‑to‑end monthly payroll, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and salary changes.
• Calculate basic salary, allowances, overtime, deductions, and end‑of‑service benefits.
• Prepare and submit WPS files in line with Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development requirements.
• Manage GOSI registration, contributions, and monthly reconciliation for Saudi and non‑Saudi staff.
• Reconcile payroll data with HR/ERP records and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle leave settlements, final settlements, and exit payroll calculations.
• Respond to employee payroll queries within agreed SLAs.
• Maintain payroll records in compliance with PDPL and internal retention policies.
• Support internal and external payroll audits with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance for payroll disbursement, journal entries, and cost‑center allocation.
• Generate payroll reports (headcount cost, overtime, variance) for management review.
• Stay updated on Saudi Labor Law, Nitaqat/Saudization, and GOSI regulation changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or a related field.
• 2–4 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or holding‑group environment in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, WPS, and Qiwa/Mudad platforms.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS/ERP payroll modules such as Oracle, SAP or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills for payroll reconciliation and reporting.
• Proficiency in preparing WPS files and managing GOSI contributions.
