People & Culture Manager – Remote Mountain Resort

About the role

The People & Culture Manager will be the custodian of the team experience at Basiqat Resort, a remote mountain destination operated by Mantis. Working closely with the General Manager and senior leadership, you will bring the Mantis ethos to life through people‑focused practices that inspire, connect and empower staff.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and nurture a purpose‑driven culture that reflects Mantis’s sustainability and respect values.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for a diverse, multi‑skilled resort team, building talent pipelines suited to remote operations.
• Design and deliver onboarding experiences that immerse new hires in the resort’s story and environment.
• Partner with leadership to foster a positive, purpose‑led workplace and champion a culture of curiosity and sustainability.
• Manage employee relations, performance processes and continuous development initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional talent teams to attract the right candidates for the resort’s unique needs.

Required profile

• Saudi national with proven experience in human resources or people & culture roles, preferably in hospitality or remote settings.
• Strong ability to build culture from the ground up and inspire teams in challenging environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Demonstrated capability to manage recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement initiatives.
