Physiotherapist

About the role

Nahdi Medical Co is hiring a full-time physiotherapist in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The main purpose of the role is to provide physical therapy care to patients under the direction of the head of the Physiotherapy Department.

Key responsibilities

• Administer treatment and various physiotherapy modalities to outpatients and patients receiving home visits.
• Monitor patients' conditions, reactions and responses to treatment and record them in the patient progress sheet.
• Clean and maintain department equipment and aids, and help maintain department inventory.
• Request supplies through the designated procedures and attend department service programmes as required.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records, reports and statistics in line with departmental, professional and legal standards.
• Advise, teach and instruct patients and other professionals on the aims of physiotherapy and use appropriate communication to maximise rehabilitation potential.
• Follow safety standards, report dangerous incidents to the line manager, comply with Saudi laws and clinic policies, and wear an ID badge at all times.
• Take part in training new staff when requested and complete mandatory training requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from a recognised university and a SCHS licence.
• 1 year of clinical experience.
• Fluent speaking and writing in English and Arabic.

Working conditions

• 100% indoor work, with outdoor time during home visits.
• 6 working days, 1 day off; 8-hour shifts from 9 am to 5 pm or 1 pm to 9 pm.
