Planning Manager – Construction & Power Projects

About the role

Al Khinji Recruitment is seeking a Planning Manager to develop and implement strategic plans that achieve business goals. The role involves close collaboration with sales, operations and finance to align planning with the overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and finance departments to ensure plans support the overall business strategy.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict future demand for products or services.
• Manage the development of budgets and financial plans.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency in planning and operations.
• Lead and mentor a team of planners, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma holder.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling on construction projects.
• Experience on desalination or power plant projects is mandatory.
• Availability to start within 15‑20 days.
• Ability to manage own employment Iqama/visa in Saudi Arabia.
• Arabic speaking candidates are highly preferred.
