Port Logistics Customer Service Officer

About the role

Burjline Builders is hiring a Port Logistics Customer Service Officer in Ad Dammam. The role provides professional customer service and coordinates daily logistics activities related to bonded warehousing, container handling, cargo storage and customs clearance, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers on shipments, cargo storage, container movements and logistics services.
• Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Manifest and Customs Clearance teams to ensure timely cargo handling and delivery.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and give customers accurate status updates.
• Handle customer inquiries, service requests, complaints and operational issues professionally.
• Coordinate documentation for cargo receiving, releasing, storage and customs processes.
• Follow up on shipment delays, operational discrepancies and pending customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the company's ERP system.
• Work with Finance and Commercial on customer invoices, service charges and related inquiries.
• Prepare customer service reports, monitor service performance and ensure compliance with company procedures and port and bonded-zone regulations.
