Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Portfolio Manager will oversee a portfolio of projects and investments, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives and delivering maximum value. This role requires strategic planning, risk management, and close collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement portfolio strategies that match corporate goals, set measurable ROI targets, and continuously monitor performance.
• Analyze portfolio performance, produce quarterly reports, and recommend resource reallocation or portfolio adjustments.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate portfolio risks while maintaining a risk register and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Communicate portfolio updates, risks, and opportunities to senior management and lead monthly review meetings.
• Optimize resource allocation across projects, track utilization, and coordinate with project managers.
• Conduct market analysis to inform investment decisions and provide quarterly trend reports.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for portfolio management processes and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field; PMP preferred.
• Proven experience managing projects and budgets, with a strong track record of delivering results.
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification highly desirable; CPM or FRM advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities to guide teams and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards.
