Pouching Machine Operator – Medical Manufacturing

About the role

Tasami Medical is seeking a skilled Pouching Machine Operator to work on the PMK300 pouching line in its Dammam facility. The role involves operating, monitoring and maintaining advanced pouching equipment to produce high‑quality medical dressings while complying with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and adjust the PMK300 machine parameters for forming, pouching, sealing and cutting.
• Perform product changeovers, format adjustments and line clearances.
• Monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure and sealing integrity.
• Troubleshoot process issues to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Conduct in‑process quality checks and document compliance with GMP and SOPs.
• Carry out routine cleaning and inspection of machine components.
• Complete production documentation and batch records accurately.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality and engineering teams for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical vocational training (mechanical, mechatronics or related field preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience operating pouching, packaging or web‑processing machines, preferably in pharma or medical production.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor adjustments and routine checks.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Required skills

• Operation of Harro Höfliger PMK300 pouching machine.
• Experience with PLC‑controlled machinery and HMI interfaces.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and interpretation of technical manuals.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards and cleanroom practices.
• Familiarity with forming films, laminates and sealing technologies.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous‑improvement techniques.
