Power BI Developer

About the role

The Power BI Developer will join the PMO team supporting a major mixed‑use infrastructure programme in Riyadh. Reporting to the Senior Manager Information Management / PMO Digital Lead, the role focuses on turning complex programme data into actionable visual insights for executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports and scorecards for programme and project stakeholders.
• Gather and analyse reporting requirements from PMO, project controls, commercial, risk and programme management teams.
• Develop data models, transformation processes and automated reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Query and DAX.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems such as scheduling, cost management and risk platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across all reporting solutions.
• Create KPI dashboards and executive reporting packs to support performance management.
• Provide user training, technical support and documentation for Power BI solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analytics or enterprise information management.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL‑300) or equivalent certification.
• Experience working within major infrastructure, construction or PMO environments.

Required skills

• Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Data integration from SQL Server, Oracle databases, cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
• KPI development, performance reporting and executive dashboard design.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data‑quality assurance capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
