Pre‑Sales Engineer – Low Current & Security Systems

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will work closely with the Sales and Capture team to design technical solutions for low‑current and security systems that meet customer requirements and add value to the relationship. This role involves creating proposals, conducting site evaluations, and ensuring designs are accurate and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer criteria and existing integration technology to develop optimal designs.
• Conduct site evaluations to capture detailed design requirements.
• Prepare concise design documents, scopes of work, and pricing proposals.
• Develop drawings, bill of quantities, and technical submittals for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Provide technical sales support and application design for low‑current and security solutions.
• Participate in peer checks, P&L reviews, capture meetings, and vendor coordination.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pre‑sales engineering for low‑current and security systems.
• Ability to translate customer needs into detailed technical designs and proposals.
• Strong communication skills to support sales teams and interact with vendors.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure design compatibility and customer satisfaction.
