About the role

The Principal Auditor will lead internal audit activities, ensuring compliance with professional standards and providing strategic advice to senior management. This senior position involves overseeing audit projects, conducting research, and acting as a trusted business consultant on complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor internal audits to verify adherence to standards and regulations.
• Review audit reports for accuracy and completeness of data.
• Provide recommendations and advice to support management decision‑making.
• Lead special and confidential audit projects, delivering findings to senior leadership.
• Conduct research and stay updated on best practices in internal auditing.
• Serve as a business consultant, addressing complex audit‑related challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Internationally recognised accounting or auditing certification (e.g., CPA, CIA).
• Minimum seven years of relevant experience, including at least three years in an internal audit function.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
