Principal Contract Operations Specialist

About the role

The Principal Contract Operations Specialist oversees the administration and operational management of contracts and supplier agreements across the organization. Working closely with procurement, legal, finance and business teams, the role ensures that contractual activities, purchase order processes and supplier performance are executed efficiently and in compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day contract administration to ensure agreements align with company standards.
• Administer and monitor purchase order processes for accuracy, completeness and policy compliance.
• Track supplier performance, service‑level agreements (SLAs) and contractual deliverables.
• Coordinate with procurement, legal, finance and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain contract administration policies, procedures, controls and governance practices.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, purchase orders and performance reports for audit readiness.
• Prepare contract‑related reporting, compliance reviews and operational performance assessments.
• Assist with contract amendments, renewals, extensions and close‑out activities.
• Escalate complex contractual or operational matters when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in contract administration, procurement operations or supplier management.
• Experience with enterprise procurement processes and contract lifecycle activities is preferred.
