Principal Platform Architect – Government Digital Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Principal Platform Architect to lead the design and delivery of a large‑scale, multi‑tenant digital platform for a government enablement initiative in Saudi Arabia. The role is full‑time, onsite and requires immediate relocation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end platform and integration architecture, including gateway, routing, tenancy, segregation, agent runtime, registry, marketplace, event backbone and capacity planning.
• Lead High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) activities and obtain client security and compliance approvals.
• Drive the platform through formal security architecture reviews for multi‑tenant environments.
• Collaborate within a small, senior cross‑functional squad covering backend, AI, frontend and operations.
• Partner with government stakeholders and solution architects to ensure non‑functional and regulatory requirements are met.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years of platform or solutions architecture experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Python.
• Proven experience with AI/LLM‑based systems such as LLM gateways, agentic architectures and retrieval pipelines.
• Experience designing multi‑tenant, cloud‑native platforms (AKS/Kubernetes preferred).
• Track record of leading architecture through enterprise or government security governance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead design ceremonies.
• Immediate availability to join and relocate.
