Process Safety Analyst – Terminal Operations

About the role

The Process Safety Analyst will support SABTANK by identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation measures to protect employees, assets, and the environment. The role focuses on ensuring robust process safety systems for operating and maintaining terminal assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic terminal site verifications and physical audits to assess compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.
• Perform risk stewardship activities, including Management of Change (MOC) reviews and pre‑startup safety and health (SHE) assessments.
• Ensure adherence to process safety regulations, standards, and internal procedures.
• Develop and maintain safety strategies for operating and maintaining terminal assets.
• Identify hazards, evaluate consequences, and recommend mitigation measures to prevent releases of chemicals or energy.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in process safety within the chemical or related industry.
• Strong understanding of process safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to work onsite at terminal facilities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
