The Procurement Expeditor ensures timely acquisition of goods and services, supporting the organization’s operations. This detail‑oriented role thrives in a fast‑paced environment and focuses on optimizing procurement and supply‑chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and track purchase orders in the procurement system.
• Review purchase orders, contracts and related documentation for accuracy, completeness and policy compliance.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and contract terms to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast future needs and use data‑analysis tools for procurement planning.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and provide efficient support.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly to maintain quality, reliability and service standards.
• Prepare procurement reports, analyse key performance metrics and present insights to management.
• Assist in developing and improving procurement policies, procedures and best practices.
• Stay informed of industry trends, supplier markets and pricing fluctuations to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives that strengthen procurement and supply‑chain performance.
