Procurement Lead

About the role

The Procurement Lead will own the firm’s purchasing function across Saudi Arabia and the UAE, reporting to the CFO. This hands‑on role will build a procurement function from scratch, driving cost savings, risk mitigation and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing for all third‑party spend, from requirement definition through market approach, evaluation, negotiation and award.
• Develop and maintain category strategies for technology & cloud, subcontractors, professional services and facilities.
• Negotiate commercial terms, service levels and exit clauses, and manage the firm’s contract templates and register.
• Build and oversee the supplier base, including onboarding, due‑diligence, segmentation and performance reviews.
• Design and operate a procure‑to‑pay process, approval thresholds and segregation of duties aligned with financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi and UAE regulatory, tax and local content requirements.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of procurement, sourcing or commercial experience, with full ownership of significant categories.
• Proven track record of running competitive sourcing and negotiating contracts personally.
• Strong background in indirect spend, especially technology, professional services and subcontracted labour.
• Working experience in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with regional supplier markets and tax documentation.
• Experience in professional services or consulting environments is preferred.
