Procurement Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Esnad Contracting Company is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the acquisition of materials, equipment, services and subcontractors for its construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective procurement while meeting quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project and corporate objectives.
• Manage sourcing, pre‑qualification, evaluation and approval of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts, prices and commercial terms to secure best value.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Planning and Cost Control to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, contractual requirements and procurement KPIs.
• Track market trends and material pricing to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Oversee inventory levels in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Prepare procurement reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Lead, mentor and develop the procurement team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in construction, preferably roads, infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management and supplier pre‑qualification.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using procurement management software.
