Procurement Manager

About the role

kbr is looking for a Procurement Manager based in Corniche. The role negotiates favourable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers for goods, services and supplies, and takes responsibility for purchases supporting customer-related business processes or internal use. It also involves managing the Procurement team and driving value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate favourable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers, and negotiate refunds on defects and delivery problems
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering to ensure proper scheduling and movement of goods and supplies
• Manage the Procurement team to develop a more strategic approach
• Ensure efficient, effective procurement processes that meet legal, technical and commercial requirements within a strict regulatory framework
• Drive value for money through the procurement of goods, services and works
• Review and develop Procurement processes and procedures, with changes reviewed by stakeholders and communicated to the business
• Work with other departments to develop contracting strategies that protect the business

• Degree and 9+ years of experience
