Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized Procurement Officer to lead our purchasing activities and support the supply chain. The role focuses on sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess products, services, and potential suppliers.
• Negotiate payment terms, contracts, and pricing with vendors.
• Create and manage RFQs, purchase requisitions (PR), purchase orders (PO) and follow them through to delivery.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with Finance for payments, credit notes, debit notes and statements of account.
• Document and archive procurement records accurately.
• Ensure compliance with SFDA, SASO, customs clearance and the Fasah system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Familiarity with the Riyadh marketplace and willingness to work onsite.
• Driving licence (optional).
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with procurement processes: RFQ, PR, PO, PI, CI, GRN.
• Vendor relationship management and negotiation.
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and the Fasah system.
• Understanding of SFDA and SASO regulatory requirements.
