About the role
The Procurement Officer will ensure that all purchasing activities are carried out efficiently and in line with company policies. This role supports the supply chain by managing purchase orders, supplier communications, and delivery follow‑up.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and review purchase requisitions from requesting departments.
- Collect offers from suppliers and evaluate them.
- Enter purchase orders into the ERP system and send them to suppliers.
- Obtain order confirmations and monitor delivery status of open orders.
- Periodically assess supplier performance.
- Verify that received items match purchase orders and contract terms.
- Process cash‑purchased items.
- Handle additional assignments from the Deputy Purchase Manager.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Business Administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within FMCG or frozen food sectors.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems for purchase order management.
